Broad Arrow auctions unveils “Global Icons” online supercar showcase for January 2026

Broad Arrow Auctions, a Hagerty company, is launching an ambitious new multi-location online auction concept in early 2026, one designed to bring some of the worldโ€™s most coveted collector cars directly to a global audience. Dubbed Global Icons, the January event will span the UK and Europe, blending the convenience of online bidding with the rarity of in-person preview opportunities across multiple countries.

The series is split into three dedicated auctions:

Global Icons: Europe Online โ€“ featuring cars located across continental Europe

Global Icons: UK Online โ€“ spotlighting UK-based consignments

Global Icons: Memorabilia Online โ€“ offering an estimated 100 lots of blue-chip motorsport memorabilia

According to Joe Twyman, VP of Sales for Broad Arrowโ€™s EMEA region, the concept represents a major step forward in the firmโ€™s expansion across Europe. “Global Icons introduces an exciting new auction format to our clients,” he says. “Our presence throughout the UK and Europe now allows us to present an online collector car auction experience that will attract a wide network of collectors, while giving them the unique opportunity to preview many of the cars in person with a Broad Arrow specialist at convenient hub locations.”

A 1971 Lamborghini Miura Leads Early Headlines

Among the earliest confirmed consignments is a true crown jewel: a 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S, chassis no. 4809, estimated at โ‚ฌ1.6Mโ€“โ‚ฌ1.8M. As one of roughly 338 P400 S examples produced, and equipped from new with vented discs and factory air conditioning, the car represents one of the most desirable specifications of Lamborghiniโ€™s legendary V12 supercar.

Delivered new to Tenerife’s Vela Murillo dealership, the Miura spent its early life gliding through the Canary Islands before moving to Switzerland in 1998. Between 2006 and 2011, it underwent a careful period-correct restoration in Giallo Miura over Nero leather, retaining its matching-numbers engine and receiving a coveted SV-style split-sump lubrication system. A major 2025 service totaling more than CHF 15,000 adds further confidence for serious collectors.

In addition to the supercars, the Global Icons: Memorabilia Online auction will feature items used by some of motorsportโ€™s greatest legends, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Sir Stirling Moss, and Sir John Surtees among them. Approximately 100 lots will cross the virtual block, offering fans and collectors a rare chance to own historically significant racing pieces.

Key Dates and Preview Access

All lots will be listed at broadarrowauctions.com, with bidding opening January 23, 2026.

With an elite mix of historic, modern, and culturally significant machines, plus an impressive spread of motorsport memorabilia, Broad Arrowโ€™s Global Icons is positioning itself as one of the most compelling collector-car events on the 2026 calendar.
