Bugatti Will Finish Chiron Production by 2021’s End

Prepare for its Successor

The Bugatti Chiron’s production run could end at the end of 2021. Bugatti is only going to build 500 of the Chiron and according to CarMag, there are only 100 units unsold. This does not include the Chiron-based special edition cars. Bugatti will likely continue to produce those cars.

Stephan Winkelmann, Bugatti’s president, has already said that a new car is coming. It will be a new high-performance model and should be revealed at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. It’s unclear if this car will be the successor to the Chiron or if it will be another Chiron-based special edition. Fingers crossed for the successor.

“Although we’re proud to look back on our past, we’re looking forward to the future with purpose and pleasure,” said Winkelmann.

Winkelmann did say Bugatti would add a second model to the Bugatti range, so another car is coming. “All I can say is this: we’ll be presenting a few interesting surprises in 2020. We have several ideas and are continuing to work on the future of our traditional marque,” he said.

It will be interesting to see what Bugatti has up its sleeve. The automaker is sure to wow the world no matter what it decides to produce.
