A special event, โ€œTribute to the Can Am 2015,โ€ has been scheduled for Saturday, October 17 at the Wally Parks NHRA Museum in Pomona, California.

Films and slides from the glory years of the Canadian-American Challenge Cup Series and a presentation by noted Can-Am historian Pete Lyons will be featured, and supplemented by a roundtable discussion with drivers and other personalities of the era. An autograph session will enable attendees to interact with the luminaries on hand, and a proper dinner will also be served.

This exclusive event is limited to only 100 attendees, each of whom will receive a unique gift bag, commemorative medallion and limited edition museum-quality poster. Sponsored by the Autobooks/Aerobooks bookstore in Burbank and by Vintage Racecar magazine, this event presents a rare opportunity to hear stories of the fabled Can-Am races from those who were there making history โ€” not only driving the cars, but also building and maintaining the powerful unlimited machines, a number of which will be on display at the museum.
