Atalanta Motors

Atalanta Motors is a British automobile manufacturer with a rich heritage that dates back to the 1930s. Originally founded in 1937 by Alfred Gough and Eric Sanders, the company quickly gained a reputation for producing advanced and luxurious sports cars that were ahead of their time. The original Atalanta models were known for their innovative engineering, including features such as independent suspension and lightweight aluminum bodies. These early cars were designed with both road and competition use in mind, showcasing the company’s commitment to engineering excellence and driving pleasure. The outbreak of World War II brought an abrupt halt to Atalanta’s production, and the brand remained dormant for several decades. However, the Atalanta name was revived in the 21st century by a group of enthusiasts and entrepreneurs who sought to bring back the spirit of the original marque. The new Atalanta Motors, founded in 2011, is dedicated to producing modern interpretations of the classic pre-war designs, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology. One of the standout models from the revived Atalanta Motors is the Atalanta Sports Tourer, a handcrafted vehicle that pays homage to the brand’s 1930s heritage.
