Ralt

Ralt, an esteemed name in the world of motorsport, was founded by the talented engineer and designer Ron Tauranac in 1974. Known for its significant impact on the junior single-seater racing categories, Ralt quickly established itself as a dominant force in Formula 2, Formula 3, and Formula Atlantic. The company’s reputation was built on its ability to produce competitive and reliable racing cars, which became the choice of many aspiring drivers aiming to advance their careers. Notable models such as the Ralt RT1 and RT3 were renowned for their innovative design, exceptional handling, and performance, often leading the pack in various championships. Ralt’s success was further amplified by its close association with Honda, benefiting from the Japanese automaker’s advanced engineering and technological expertise. Although Ron Tauranac sold the company in 1988, Ralt’s legacy continues to be celebrated for its contributions to motorsport and its role in nurturing the talents of numerous racing legends.
