The 38th annual Concours dโ€™Elegance of America (formerly the Meadowbrook Concours) crowned a pair of classic automobiles as its dual Best of Show winners on the last Sunday of July at the Inn at St. John in Plymouth, Michigan. The Best of Show โ€“ American award was presented to Joseph and Margie Cassini of West Orange, New Jersey, for their 1934 Packard 1108 โ€“ 65 Convertible Victoria by Dietrich (right, above), while Best of Show โ€“ European went to the 1937 Talbot-Lago Type 150CSS Roadster by Figoni et Falaschi (left, above) of J.W. โ€œThe two Best in Show recipients reflect the overall quality and one-of-a-kind vehicles that were on display at the 2016 Concours dโ€™Elegance of America,โ€ said event chairman Larry Moss. โ€œAn estimated crowd of almost 15,000 had the opportunity to see close to 300 rare and outstanding vehicles that they may never have the opportunity to see again.โ€
