Concours d’Elegance of America (2017) – Silver Ghost to be Featured

The Concours dโ€™Elegance of America has announced that the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost will be the featured marque for this yearโ€™s event. Introduced at the Olympia Motor Show this Rolls-Royce, later named Silver Ghost, would go on to be the longest-running single model next to the Model T Ford. It is considered by many the most famous luxury car in history. Today, the Silver Ghost remains one of the most desirable models among antique (pre -1930) cars. In 2012, the 1906 40/50hp Silver Ghost model known as โ€œThe Corgiโ€ sold at auction for $7.1 million. The 39th Annual Concours dโ€™Elegance of America will be held on Sunday, July 30, at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan. To see the entire featured list of vehicles visit concoursusa.org.
