FOR SALE: 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

Number 714 of 918 units produced

Porsche is one of the most accomplished automakers in history, dominating sports car and prototype racing while producing some of the most celebrated road cars. Though the brand seldom entered the supercar arena, each effort set new engineering standards. The 1970s saw the introduction of the 911 Carrera RS, a motorsport benchmark, followed by the 1980s 959, which showcased Porsche’s turbocharging and technological prowess. In the 2000s, the Carrera GT, powered by a Formula 1-derived V10, became an instant icon.

Porsche’s return to the hypercar stage came with the 918 Spyder, revealed at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Drawing inspiration from the Le Mans–winning RS Spyder, it achieved a remarkable 6:57 Nürburgring lap. Its 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 and dual electric motors produced 887 horsepower, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds. Advanced systems such as all-wheel drive, rear-axle steering, and regenerative braking optimized performance and control.

Offered for sale on Bring a Trailer from the Wob’s Icons of Zuffenhausen Collection, 918 Spyder number 714 shows fewer than 7,000 miles. Delivered new to Porsche of Salt Lake City, it is finished in Dark Blue Metallic over Onyx Black leather with Acid Green accents and the Carbon Fiber Interior Package.

It rides on staggered 20″/21″ HRE wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Braking comes from Acid Green-painted carbon-ceramic discs measuring 410mm front and 390mm rear.

Additional equipment includes a front-axle lift, Porsche Active Aerodynamics, LED headlights, Burmester audio, dual-zone climate control, a backup camera, and a 6.8-kWh lithium-ion battery mounted behind the cabin.
