To commemorate its founding in 1963, Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.p.A. unveiled the Aventador SVJ 63 in both coupe and roadster forms. At its debut, the Aventador SVJ represented the pinnacle of Lamborghini engineering, featuring extensive weight-saving enhancements and the debut of the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system, which increased downforce by 40% over the Aventador SV while reducing drag by 1%.
Limited to just 63 units, each tailored to the original buyer’s specifications, this particular SVJ 63 Roadster—now listed on Bring a Trailer—has logged only 125 miles. It’s finished in gray with optional “63” graphics and features a carbon fiber removable roof and exposed carbon fiber exterior accents. Aerodynamic elements include an active rear wing and grille shutters that optimize airflow for high-speed stability. Forged 20″ front and 21″ rear Leirion wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires sit over carbon ceramic brakes with yellow calipers.
Inside, the heated power seats are upholstered in black, gray, and yellow, with Lamborghini logos on the headrests and “SVJ” script on the bolsters. The cabin is trimmed in carbon fiber and equipped with Lamborghini’s infotainment system, a CD stereo, Sensonum premium audio, and automatic climate control.
Power comes from a 6.5L V12 producing 759 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 531 lb-ft of torque at 6,750 rpm, mated to a 7-speed single-clutch ISR automated manual transmission and a Haldex all-wheel-drive system with a rear limited-slip differential. Performance is staggering—0-60 MPH in 2.9 seconds, 120 MPH in just over 8 seconds, and a top speed approaching 220 MPH.
