Two decades after the debut of Porsche’s first GT3 RS, the 992-generation 911 GT3 RS is arguably one of the most formidable, track-focused machine built to chase the fastest possible lap times while remaining road legal. At its core is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six, a deliberate holdout in an era increasingly defined by hybrid and electric performance.
Currently listed on Bring a Trailer, this 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS shows just 76 miles and was specified with the $20,000 Tribute to Carrera RS Package alongside the Weissach Package. Limited to 150 units in the United States, the Tribute Package pays homage to the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 and was only available in combination with the Weissach Package.
Finished in white with Python Green accents, the car rides on Python Green magnesium center-lock wheels—20 inches in front and 21 inches at the rear—fitted with Goodyear tires. Additional details include Mamba Green deviated stitching, illuminated Tribute door sills, custom green seat inserts with the originals included, and exposed carbon fiber elements throughout.
Power comes from a 518-horsepower, 4.0-liter flat-six producing 342 lb-ft of torque, featuring forged titanium rods, forged aluminum pistons, VarioCam timing, and individual throttle bodies. A 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission sends power through Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with carbon fiber bucket seats, magnesium shift paddles, Weissach-specific embroidery, matte carbon fiber trim, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, LED Matrix headlights, and standard power amenities.
Performance features include a carbon fiber swan-neck rear wing with active DRS, rear-axle steering, PASM Sport Suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and a lightweight stainless-steel sport exhaust. Weight savings from the Weissach Package come via extensive carbon-composite components, including the roof, front lid, anti-roll bars, and interior trim.
