Goodwood Revival (2013) – Goodwood to Honor Clark

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first of his two World Championships, this yearโ€™s Goodwood Revival, scheduled for September 13-15, will pay tribute to Jim Clark. To honor the life and accomplishments of the legendary Scot, a daily track parade will feature a number of his most famous cars spanning a variety of different genres. Included in this group will be the Lotus 25 that he drove to that 1963 World Championship, the Lotus Cortina in which he won the 1964 British Saloon Car Championship and the Lotus 38 he took to victory at Indianapolis in 1965.

Clark competed at Goodwood on many occasions in the early 1960s and, together with fellow Scot Sir Jackie Stewart, jointly holds the lap record of 1:20.4, set during the circuitโ€™s final F1 race in 1965. A number of Clarkโ€™s contemporaries are expected to attend the tribute, including Sir Stirling Moss, Stewart, John Surtees and Tony Brooks.
