Quick on the heels of its recent announcement to bring 3-liter Formula One cars to Road America in 2002, the Historic Grand Prix organization announced that it had finalized a last-minute deal for the group to return to Indianapolis for this year’s U.S. Grand Prix to be held on September 28-30.
Last year, HGP fielded a full grid of nearly 40 historic F1 cars as a demonstration group in support of the inaugural race.
