Historic Grand Prix (HGP) has announced that it will serve as a support race for two 2005 IRL road course events, as well as for the Canadian Grand Prix. The preliminary HGP schedule will include events at Thunderhill with CSRG (May 6–8), Montreal with the Canadian Grand Prix (June 10–12), Mt. Tremblant at the Historic Festival (July 8–10), Elkhart Lake with the Brian Redman International Challenge (July 15–17), Infineon Raceway with the IRL (August 26–28) and Watkins Glen with the IRL (September 23–25).
