Maserati GT2 Stradale shines at the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb

Last Wednesday, the winding roads above Lake Maggiore played host to the second edition of the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb, an exclusive gathering where automotive passion meets culture, design, and lifestyle. Far from being a speed-focused race, the event embraced the mantra โ€œslow down to go fastโ€, celebrating the art of driving as a mindful experience immersed in breathtaking landscapes. At the heart of the spectacle was Maserati, captivating enthusiasts with its latest creation: the GT2 Stradale. Draped in a striking Giallo Genio body color with contrasting black and grey interiors, the supercar lit up the seven-kilometer climb along the historic Strada Borromea, thrilling spectators with its unmistakable Nettuno roar.

Unlike traditional competitions, the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb is not about lap times or rankings. Conceived by the BorromeoDeSilva design studio in collaboration with Race Service, the event brings together around 80 extraordinary carsโ€”both modern and classic, under one simple motto: “only cool cars allowed.” From icons of Italian motoring history to contemporary masterpieces, every vehicle in attendance reflected the diversity and richness of automotive culture. Against this eclectic backdrop, the Maserati GT2 Stradale stood tall as a seamless blend of motorsport spirit and everyday usability.

The GT2 Stradale is no ordinary supercar. Derived from the Maserati GT2, the race car that marked the brandโ€™s triumphant return to closed-wheel competition, the road-going Stradale channels Maseratiโ€™s deep racing DNA while retaining comfort and refinement. Under the hood, the formidable V6 Nettuno engine delivers a staggering 640 hp (471 kW), propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 320 km/h. Weighing 60 kg less than the already potent MC20, the GT2 Stradale claims the title of the most powerful road-legal Maserati ever built with a combustion engine.

Yet, the Hillclimb wasnโ€™t about raw numbers, it was about emotion. The Maserati GT2 Stradale perfectly captured the eventโ€™s spirit: craftsmanship, style, and the thrill of driving, all wrapped in Italyโ€™s finest design philosophy. Its presence reaffirmed Maseratiโ€™s role as a brand that bridges heritage with innovation, bringing the sensations of the racetrack directly to the road. As the sun set over Lake Maggiore, one thing became clear: Maseratiโ€™s GT2 Stradale didnโ€™t just participate in the TUTTO BENE Hillclimb, it defined it. More than a car, it was a statement of intent. A fusion of elegance and motorsport aggression. A living reminder of why Italian supercars will always sit at the very top of automotive culture.
