Mecum Portland (2016) – Auction Results

Muscle cars dominated the top sellers at Mecum Auctionsโ€™ inaugural Portland auction, held Fatherโ€™s Day weekend at the Portland Expo Center. Some 300 vehicles were hammered sold for a total of more than $9.3 million, with a 1965 Shelby Mustang GT350 Fastback pulling in the highest bid of $305,000.

โ€œThe people of Portland were extremely welcoming, and the large crowds and strong bidding reflected their enthusiasm,โ€ noted Mecum president and founder Dana Mecum. โ€œPortland proved to be an excellent city for a Mecum auction, and holding it over Fatherโ€™s Day weekend gave families looking to celebrate a perfect place to do it.โ€
