Mustang Tops Mecum Harrisburg Auction

A 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback (above, David Newhardt photo courtesy Mecum Auctions) was the top seller at last weekendโ€™s Mecum Auction in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The Grabber Blue machine hammered for a hefty $220,000 as Ford and Chevrolet products dominated the top 10 sales with a 1967 Corvette pulling the second-highest selling price at $160,000. Overall the auction registered $16.7 million in total sales from a 70-percent sell-through rate.
