We are deeply saddened to report that long-time VR contributor Bob Dunsmore lost his battle with Leukemia on April 15. Dunsmore raced Formula Vees and Formula Fords throughout the ’70s before turning his focus towards motorsport photography. In the coming decades, Dunsmore built a business around photographing historic race meetings, resulting in him becoming the official photographer for such prestigious events as the Monterey Historics, the California Mille and the Colorado Grand.
A regular fixture at most West Coast events, Dunsmore’s excellent photography and razor-sharp wit will be greatly missed.
