Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing, Ltd., the Pikes Peak International Raceway and the Pikes Peak Hillclimb Association have joined forces to establish a major motorsports event, the Pikes Peak Motorsports Festival.
The 1st Annual Pikes Peak Motorsports Festival, scheduled for June 28 – July 1, 2001, will consist of a featured vintage auto race at Pikes Peak International Raceway and a nationally recognized Concours D’Elegance in downtown Colorado Springs on the grounds of the historic Pioneers Museum. The honored marque at this first annual event will be Alfa Romeo, and it is anticipated that rare and exotic Alfa’s from around the country will participate in the races and Concours D’Elegance.
