The 20th annual Greenwich Concours dโElegance was held in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on the waterfront in Greenwich, Connecticut, where guests could admire both American and imported cars and motorcycles beneath bright and sunny skies. The event featured 275 vehicles, including a 1961 Austin-Healey 3000, a 1951 Cisitalia 202C Cabriolet, a 1954 Jaguar XK120M and a 1935 Packard Model 1201 Convertible.
While awards were presented in a dozen classes, the top honors of the eventโs two-day format were the Concours Americana Best in Show, which went to George A. Vassos for his 1932 Studebaker President Convertible Sedan, the only one in existence, and the Concours International Best in Show, taken by Nick Grewal for his 1936 Brough Superior Drophead (above, Greg Marksamer photo courtesy of Greenwich Concours). The Concours Americana People’s Choice Award went to Joseph and Margie Cassini III for their 1931 Duesenberg Model J Tourster Convertible, while the Concours International People’s Choice was Michael Schudroffโs 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4 Cabriolet.
