Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept

The Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept Makes Its North American Debut in Monterey

An Attention Getter, for Sure

Bentley’s new EXP 100 GT Concept is an extremely special car. We reported on the vehicle when it first was revealed. Now the car has made the rounds at Monterey Car Week in California. According to Carscoops, the Bentley concept car started out at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering. From there it went to the Home Of Bentley. Last, the company took the car to Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The EXP 100 GT Concept is by far not the only Bentley in Monterey for the various events there. However, it was likely the Bentley car that caused the biggest stir. The car is a technological marvel. It features an all-electric powertrain that puts out over 1,300 hp and 1,100 lb-ft of torque. It’ll sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.

The other Bentleys in attendance at the various events in California included 21 models that took the Laguna Seca Raceway. The cars were part of a special Centenary Parade. Among the oldest models were three different 1929 Bentley 4.5-liter Blowers. These cars provide a notable juxtaposition with the new EXP 100 GT Concept. They show just how far the company and the technology has come.
