Tokyo ignites: Lamborghini Day Japan 2025

Tokyo doesnโ€™t just shine โ€” it blazes. And on this night, it burned in Lamborghini colors. Automobili Lamborghini transformed Ariake Urban Sports Park, a legacy of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, into a cathedral of speed, passion, and Italian design. More than 500 owners, enthusiasts, and members of the press from across Japan and the Asia Pacific region gathered to celebrate something much bigger than cars: the art of emotion in motion.

The day began with a symphony of V12s and hybrid roars. Over 100 Lamborghinis, glistening under the early morning light, assembled at Umi-no-Mori Park on Tokyoโ€™s waterfront. From there, they surged through the city like a rolling thunderstorm of power and color โ€” past the historic Kabuki-za Theater, through the neon maze of Ginza, and over the Rainbow Bridge with the skyline blazing behind them. It wasnโ€™t just a parade; it was a moving testament to design and engineering, a visceral ballet where every exhaust note told a story of precision and pride.

“Celebrating Lamborghini Day 2025 in Tokyo is truly special,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghiniโ€™s charismatic Chairman and CEO. “Japan has always been one of our most passionate markets โ€” a place where craftsmanship, precision, and innovation are deeply understood.”

That sentiment set the tone for the evening, which unveiled not one, but two breathtaking debuts: the Fenomeno, Lamborghiniโ€™s most powerful V12 โ€˜Few Offโ€™ masterpiece, and a Revuelto Ad Personam โ€” a bespoke configuration that redefines the meaning of personalization.

The Fenomeno is the new apex predator of Santโ€™Agata. Just 29 units will exist. Its heart? An 835 CV naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors that add another 245 CV โ€” a combined 1,080 CV of fury. Zero to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. Top speed: 350 km/h. But numbers only tell part of the story. The Fenomeno introduces Lamborghiniโ€™s most advanced technical suite yet โ€” a 6D sensor for cornering precision, CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes, and a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque that slices through the air like a razor. Itโ€™s a machine that feels alive, breathing, ready to pounce โ€” an ode to performance wrapped in pure Italian artistry.

Sharing the spotlight, the Revuelto Ad Personam was pure poetry in motion. Its gradient exterior fades from Bianco Asopo (white) to Rosso Khonsu (red) โ€” a daring visual journey that mirrors Japanโ€™s national colors, symbols of celebration and fortune. Itโ€™s also the first time a longitudinal fade has ever graced a Lamborghini body โ€” a creative leap that speaks directly to the Japanese sense of harmony between heritage and innovation.

Inside, the cabin tells a story of duality. Divided into red and white hemispheres, it reflects the Revueltoโ€™s twin soul โ€” combustion and electrification, tradition and progress. Even the stitching alternates between red and white, each side completing the other. The start/stop flap on the center tunnel carries the same fading effect, a subtle yet brilliant reminder that in Lamborghini, every detail carries intent.

As the Fenomeno took center stage, it was surrounded by legends โ€” the Reventรณn, the Centenario, the Siรกn, and the Countach LPI 800-4. Each a milestone in Lamborghiniโ€™s evolution, each a reminder that innovation is not a direction, but a tradition. Nearby, the Polo Storico exhibit marked its 10th anniversary by displaying the Miura SVR, a mythical creation reborn for racing.

Lamborghiniโ€™s full hybrid lineup was also on display โ€” Revuelto, Temerario, and Urus SE โ€” completing the brandโ€™s Direzione Cor Tauri journey toward full hybridization. No other supercar manufacturer has done it yet: an entirely hybridized stable of pure performance machines. In a dedicated off-road zone, the Urus SE, Huracรกn Sterrato, and the legendary LM002 reminded the world that Lamborghiniโ€™s wild spirit isnโ€™t confined to asphalt.

Ariake Urban Sports Park, built with sustainability in mind, became the perfect metaphor for Lamborghiniโ€™s modern ethos: performance with purpose. Temporary, adaptable, and environmentally mindful, the venue mirrored Lamborghiniโ€™s path toward sustainable mobility โ€” through hybridization, lightweight materials, and cleaner production.

Guests explored the Temerario via Apple Vision Pro headsets, entering a virtual world where design and technology collided. In another corner, the Centro Stile design team led by Mitja Borkert brought creativity to life with a live sketch of the Fenomeno โ€” design happening in real time, just meters away from the cars that define it.

And because Lamborghini never forgets that passion extends beyond the engine bay, partners like Lavazza, Champagne Carbon, and Roger Dubuis infused the evening with the finer things: espresso aromas, the clink of champagne glasses, and the ticking of precision timepieces beside a Huracรกn Super Trofeo EVO2.

“Japan is Lamborghiniโ€™s leading market in Asia Pacific and our third largest globally,” said Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific. “These two models โ€” Fenomeno and Revuelto Ad Personam โ€” embody the essence of our DNA and deepen our connection with this extraordinary community.”

Paolo Sartori, Head of Lamborghini Japan, echoed that emotion: “Our owners are among the most passionate in the world. The Revuelto Ad Personam is a tribute to Japanโ€™s deep appreciation for personalization โ€” where design becomes an expression of identity and emotion.”

As night fell, the skyline glowed and the roar of engines faded into a chorus of applause. Lamborghini Day Japan 2025 wasnโ€™t just an event โ€” it was a statement. A declaration that the future of performance is bright, electrified, and as emotional as ever. Tokyo lit up in Lamborghini style โ€” and the world took notice.
