RM Auctions’ eighth London sale, at Battersea Park, on September 9th saw $36,348,733 worth of vehicles change hands, with 86% of all lots sold. Top sales honors went to a 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione “Tour de France”, chassis 0563 GT, which was one of only nine built by the Maranello factory. With extensive period racing history, including two top-10 finishes in the legendary Tour de France road race, this desirable, race-bred GT sold for $7.7 million.
