2000 Saab 9-3 Aero Coupe
Compared to the original Saab 9-3 engine, the unit powering the Saab 9-3 Aero is equipped with a new camshaft on the exhaust side, new and sturdier pistons, new gudgeon pins, new, sturdier connecting rods and new fuel injection valves. The exhaust valves are made of Nimonic, which is a nickel alloy with excellent heat resistance. The Saab 9-3 Viggen is equipped with valves of the same type.
