The 2013 running of the Goodwood Revival historic car races were held 13-15 September at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex, England. The Revival is a unique experience, combining period vehicles, costumes and a historic venue. It is no surprise the weekend is sold out year after year, and 2013 was no different.
The weather may have been mixed at this year’s Goodwood Revival, the racing was anything but as drivers from yesteryear and the present brought the Goodwood Motor Circuit to life once again. The public too played their all-important part, embracing the spirit of the occasion in period fashion, enjoying the competitive action on the track and the unique atmosphere surrounding it.
Photographer Julien Mahiels documented the 2013 Goodwood Revival.
