The MG Vintage Racers organization (MGVR) has announced the creation of three โ€œAll MGโ€ races for the 2003 racing season. The first scheduled event is the Moss Motors-sponsored all MG race at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) June 6-8. This race will also serve as the MGVR designated โ€œFocus Eventโ€ for 2003, where 38 MGโ€™s are already pre-registered to take part, and a record breaking 50 to 60 MGโ€™s are expected to compete. Also at this event, MGVR will award their prestigious annual โ€œSpirit Awardโ€ to one of their racers who best exemplies the spirit of the marque.

Next, from June 26-29, the Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada (VARAC) will host their annual โ€œVintage Festivalโ€ at Mosport, including the โ€œAll MGโ€ race for the โ€œSimms Cup.โ€ Last year, 24 MGโ€™s raced for this honor, and even more MGโ€™s are expected this year. Later, as summer fades, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), will hold their United States Zippo Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen, New York, September 4-8, which includes their annual historic โ€œCollier Cupโ€ race for MGโ€™s and the โ€œT Cupโ€ trophy for T-series MGโ€™s. This large event always draws a big field and a large spectator crowd. For more information go to the MG Vintage Racersโ€™ Web site at www.MGVR.org
