Triumph TR4 Artwork

Andrew Adams portrays Triumphโ€™s first factory entry in the 1963 12 Hours of Sebring with a freshly built TR4.

The 1963 12 Hour Grand Prix of Endurance at Sebring marked Triumphโ€™s first factory entry into North American competition. Competition Director R.W. (Kas) Kastner selected three TR4s from the companyโ€™s regular inventory and began the arduous task of preparing the cars to survive the 12-hour race.ย Flown to Miami, Florida, the factory entries were driven on the street from the airport to the track where a hangar was rented and work continued in the days leading up to the race.
