Two Vintage Racecar contributors were recognized when awards for the 24th International Automotive Media Competition (IAMC) were announced July 26 during ceremonies at the Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John’s. Michigan.
The IAMC program recognizes and encourages excellence in all forms of automotive media. From works published, aired or broadcast between January 1 and December 31, 2014, judges deemed 101 entries worthy of special distinction, with Gold Medallion awards for 33, Silver for 31 and Bronze for 37.
The two winning Vintage Racecar entries were a Bronze Medal presented to Mike Matune for his October 2014 Feature Story “Mustang A Born Winner,” and a Gold Medal for John Zimmermann for his April 2014 Feature Story “On the Edge of Greatness.”
