Introduced in 2010 as the successor to Koenigsegg’s CC platform, which underpinned the CCR and CCX, the Agera represented the company’s most extensive redesign to date. Defined by its LED-framed headlights and integrated taillights, it was powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8 producing around 950 horsepower, sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Continuous development followed, with the Agera R debuting in 2011, the Agera S in 2013, and the extreme One:1 in 2014. Conceived as the ultimate track-focused Agera, the RS combined the strongest elements of its predecessors with technology drawn from the One:1 programme.
Its lightweight construction, advanced aerodynamics, and track-oriented chassis were paired with an uprated twin-turbo V8 producing up to 1,160 horsepower, again driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed gearbox. In 2017, an Agera RS famously achieved a GPS-verified two-way average speed of 277.87 mph on a closed Nevada road, widely recognised at the time as a production car world speed record.
Now offered on Collecting Cars with just 6,413 miles, this Agera RS is finished in Arctic White and features extensive exposed carbon fibre across the bodywork, including the splitter, sills, diffuser, rear wing, and central front section.
It is equipped with Koenigsegg’s removable hardtop, active aerodynamics, adjustable track-tuned suspension, and carbon-fibre Aircore centre-lock wheels. The cabin pairs black and white leather with abundant carbon-fibre trim, carbon-backed bucket seats, embroidered Agera RS details, a hydraulic lift system, rear-view camera, and USB connectivity.
