2023 Ferrari Daytona SP3 with Low-Mileage Heads to Auction

One of Ferrari’s most exclusive modern hypercars

Ferrari’s celebrated Icona Series will take center stage at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction next month with the offering of an exceptionally preserved 2023 Ferrari Daytona SP3, carrying an estimated value of $12 million. One of only 600 examples produced worldwide, the Daytona SP3 represents the third chapter in Ferrari’s exclusive Icona lineup, combining modern engineering with styling inspired by the marque’s legendary endurance racers of the 1960s.

The Daytona SP3 pays tribute to Ferrari’s historic domination of endurance racing, particularly its famous 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. Following the Monza SP1 and SP2, the SP3 channels the spirit of Ferrari’s mid-engined prototypes, adopting classic design elements such as dramatic wheel arches, wraparound glass, flying buttresses, and slatted rear bodywork. Rather than relying on active aerodynamic systems, Ferrari engineered the car with highly efficient passive airflow management, making it one of the brand’s most aerodynamically advanced naturally aspirated models at launch.

Power comes from Ferrari’s magnificent 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, derived from the F140 engine family used in both the 812 Superfast and LaFerrari. Unlike its hybrid sibling, however, the Daytona SP3 delivers a pure driving experience, producing 829 horsepower exclusively through the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result is breathtaking performance, with a 0-62 mph sprint of just 2.85 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph.

This particular example, chassis 297567, was commissioned through Ferrari’s Atelier personalization program and completed in July 2023. It is finished in striking Giallo Triplo Strato accented by Nero racing stripes and an Italian tricolor motif, while the interior features Nero upholstery with Giallo detailing. Desirable factory options include a carbon-fiber roof panel, carbon-fiber lower bodywork and mirrors, matte black wheels, gloss black brake calipers, airbrushed Scuderia shields, suspension lift system, Apple CarPlay, Giallo seatbelts, and numerous bespoke interior accents.

Originally delivered through Wide World of Cars in New York to its first owner in early 2024, the Daytona later joined its current collection in 2025 after routine servicing. With only 227 miles recorded and just two careful owners from new, it remains in outstanding condition. Accompanied by its original manuals and accessory toolkit, this meticulously specified Daytona SP3 represents one of the most desirable modern Ferraris available, blending rarity, naturally aspirated V12 performance, and unmistakable Italian craftsmanship into a centerpiece-worthy collector automobile.
