Though often overlooked by many historians, the history of Australian road racing is rich with a long and varied selection of series, drivers and interesting cars. This monthโ€™s featured Web site is the project of an Australian race mechanic from the โ€™50s and โ€™60s and is in the form of a personal photographic scrapbook.

Organized by photographer, this site features a large selection of photographs spanning more than 50 years of club and professional road racing. Of particular interest is an outstanding series of never-before-seen photos taken during the late โ€™60s Tasman series and Australian Grand Prix. These photos include many rare shots of Jim Clark, Graham Hill and the Lotus team just prior to Clarkโ€™s tragic death at Hockenheim. Other interesting photos include a series of Jack Brabham during the very early days of his career.
