The Bugatti Bolide is a track-only hypercar created as an uncompromising showcase of the marque’s legendary quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 engine. In its most extreme form, extensive turbo and lubrication upgrades raise output to an astonishing 1,600 horsepower, sent to all four wheels.
Performance is equally staggering: 0–60 mph time in 2.2 seconds, a top speed of over 300 mph, and a dry weight of just 1,450 kilograms, resulting in a 0.91 kg/hp power-to-weight ratio. Beyond straight-line speed, the Bolide is engineered as a true circuit weapon.
Its bespoke carbon-fibre monocoque, push-rod suspension, and aggressive aerodynamic package generate up to 2.5 G in corners and roughly 2,900 kilograms of downforce, placing its handling capability in the realm of top-tier LMP1 race cars.
This example is one of only 40 produced and is presented in near-new condition, having covered just 112 kilometres. Finalised in August 2023, it is finished in striking Turquoise Carbon with Black Carbon accents, complemented by French tricolour details and subtle Blanc highlights. The minimalist, race-inspired cabin is trimmed in Beluga Black Alcantara with Bolide-logo embroidery.
Accompanied by two Bugatti flight cases containing manuals, tools, accessories, and a spare wheel set, this single-owner Bolide is set to be offered at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction, with an estimated value between $4.75 million and $7 million.
