Catching Up

As promised, we bring you two more shows from last weekend.

We begin with SPA Italia which celebrates every Italian make around the oldschool SPA circuit in Belgium. The feature display this year was focused on Maserati and many of the marque’s best models were lapping the track. The most exciting of these was Zagato’s GS which our long time photographer Dirk de Jager photographed in action. Check out all the cars and the Zagato here.

Next up is the Ault Park Concours which brought out almost 300 cars from Ohio and the surrounding states. Our gallery from Scott Schwartz starts out with some oddball engineering and matures into normalcy by the end. If we had to pick our favorite spot, it would have to be a pair of Baldwin Motion Corvettes which are as outrageous as they are rare.

Finally, we conclude with a more thorough look at the Packard Sport Coupe which recently won the Greenwich Concours. With two of three remaining examples on the market, we are sure to see more of these pop up at concours like Pebble Beach.
