Kremer

Kremer Racing, a renowned German motorsport team founded by brothers Erwin and Manfred Kremer in 1962, has carved out a significant legacy in the world of endurance racing, particularly with Porsche cars. Based in Cologne, Kremer Racing gained fame for its meticulous engineering and innovative modifications to Porsche 911 models, creating some of the most competitive and successful variants in motorsport history. The team’s crowning achievement came in 1979 when they won the 24 Hours of Le Mans outright with their extensively modified Porsche 935 K3, marking the first victory for a privately entered team in the event’s modern era. Known for their relentless pursuit of performance and technical excellence, Kremer Racing has also enjoyed success in various other endurance series, including the World Sportscar Championship and the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Their ability to enhance and optimize Porsche vehicles has cemented their status as a legendary entity in the racing community, admired for their innovation, passion, and consistent track success.
