Saab was a Swedish was a car manufacturer established in Sweden in 1945. Saab cars are known for their focus on safety and for their innovations. Throughout its history, Saab has produced a number of vehicles and is noted for using the number 9 for naming their model, starting with the Saab 92 which was their first production model launched in 1949 to their final models the Saab 9-3 and 9-5. The company has also produced a number of concept cars and prototypes.
