As one of our two Profile cars come to us courtesy of Clive Chapman’s Classic Team Lotus, we thought it might be appropriate to make readers aware of the organization’s web site.
Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the history of Team Lotus, the site offers aficionados of the legendary marque a lengthy menu of options that includes not only a profile of the company, but also a listing of services available for customers, quarterly reviews of its activities, a listing of events in which CTL will be participating, and a shopping zone for Team Lotus merchandise.
At this latter stop, one can order, among other things, a print of the Team Lotus F1 Grid. This is an overhead photograph of the gathering of Formula One Lotuses taken during the recent Lotus Festival at England’s Snetterton circuit that features one example of every Lotus Grand Prix car, all arranged chronologically on a five-wide grid.
