Former Aston Martin CEO to Head Up Bizzarrini Revival

A New Player in the Space

In the 1960s, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and Iso engineer Giotto Bizzarrini made a car company called, big surprise, Bizzarrini. For a few years, the car company made sports cars and race cars and even raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Recently, there have been a few concept cars that have come out.

Now, according to Autocar, the company will return to its former glory. Pegasus Brands stated it wishes to revive the brand and do so with some Aston Martin executives. At the helm will be Dr. Ulrich Bez who was the CEO of Aston Martin from 2000 to 2013. Christopher Sheppard who was the head of Aston AMrtin Middle East North Africa and Janette Green an Aston Martin marketing executive will join Bez at Bizzarrini.

There aren’t many details about the brand’s revival at this stage in the game. However, the company will have different facilities and offices in London, Geneva, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.

I’m hoping the brand not only revives some of its old names but also takes a look back through its styling history. Bizzarrini’s cars from the 1960s were beautiful machines.
