Some say Graham Hill was not a natural, but one who had to work hard at his motor racing. I say so what? Not many of us work so well at something that we equal Hillโ€™s outstanding record of winning the 1962 and 1968 Formula One World Championships, 14 championship Grands Prix, the 1966 Indianapolis 500 and the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans!

Hill was a true Brit, as English as the White Cliffs of Dover. In fact, he was so very British that, when he asked Enzo Ferrari if there would ever be a place for him at Maranello, the legendary Italian said, โ€œNo, you are too English.โ€
