Great Britain’s National Motor Museum has opened a multi-media display of four legendary British Land Speed Record cars as part of its permanent “For Britain and for the Hell of It” exhibition.
Featured are the record-breaking 350 hp and 1,000 hp Sunbeams, driven by Kenelm Lee Guinness and Henry Segrave, respectively, Segrave’s Golden Arrow and Donald Campbell’s Bluebird CN7, all of which reflect the success of British LSR efforts between the 1920s and 1960s.
