Praga Supercar Heading to Goodwood

Praga's Bohema heading to the 2026 Festival of Speed

Czech supercar manufacturer Praga is set to showcase its record-breaking Bohema supercar and unique engineering philosophy at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Praga will display two Bohema supercars and its engineering philosophy at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, with dynamic hill runs by brand ambassador and test driver Ben Collins. Located beside the Goodwood Supercar Paddock, the stand will highlight the company’s “hyper-engineering” approach, focusing on lightweight design, innovation, and race-derived technology. The all-carbon, road-legal Bohema weighs under 1,000 kg and combines 700 bhp with advanced aerodynamics and motorsport engineering. Developed from Praga’s racing expertise, it has set multiple production-car lap records while remaining road-usable.

Jan Martinek, Praga Technical Director: “At Praga, we see every design and engineering decision as an opportunity to be better, lighter, faster, and more beautiful. The Bohema is the result of thousands of incremental improvements, countless hours of testing, and a willingness to challenge the norm. Showcasing at Festival of Speed provides the perfect opportunity to share not only the finished car, but also the engineering journey behind it.” Visitors will see a newly delivered purple carbon customer car alongside a black carbon Bohema with orange detailing and a Czech lion motif. Five engineering exhibits will illustrate key elements of the car’s development.

Steering Wheel exhibit – The Ultimate Driver Interface

The removable Formula 1-inspired carbon steering wheel features a figure-eight design refined over three years of testing. It integrates shift paddles, an electronic clutch, LED shift lights, an LCD display and controls for drive modes, lighting and wipers.

Driver Control Interface ‘Enterprise’ exhibit – The Tactile Bohema Experience

The aerospace-inspired overhead control panel is machined from anodized aluminum with carbon-fibre controls. It combines an integrated display, rotary controller and grouped controls for vehicle functions, while displaying tyre, fuel and system information.

Pedal Box exhibit – Tailored to the Driver

An adjustable EN AW 7075-T6 aluminum pedal box works with the seat and steering column to create a tailored driving position. Quick-release adjustment, a two-pedal layout with an CNC-machined and a sliding carbon footrest enhance driver comfort and control.

Headlamps exhibit – Machined Engineering, Made Visible

electronic clutch headlamp structures expose the engineering behind the lighting system, using lightweight construction while maintaining rigidity and full adjustability for road or track use.

Engine decklid exhibit – Mechanical Choreography

A five-axis-machined engine decklid hinge weighs just 2.5 kg and is designed to clear the fixed rear wing while revealing the engine. Its lightweight construction showcases Praga’s emphasis on precision engineering and minimal mass.

After setting production car lap records near its Czech headquarters in 2025, Praga has focused on hand-building customer cars throughout 2026. The company has delivered Bohema models worldwide, with customers expected to join celebrations marking Praga’s 120th anniversary in 2027.
