Scheduled to cross the block at Mecum Auctions on September 26, this 2026 Aston Martin Valhalla represents one of only 999 examples planned for production and marks a significant technological milestone for the British marque. It is Aston Martin’s first mid-engine plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) supercar, developed with input from Red Bull Racing and legendary Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey.
The Valhalla is powered by a Mercedes-AMG-derived 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 featuring a dry-sump lubrication system, flat-plane crankshaft, and 63mm twin-scroll turbochargers. The combustion engine works alongside a sophisticated three-motor electric system. Two electric motors are mounted at the front axle to provide independent torque vectoring, while a third motor at the rear delivers torque fill and assists with load management. A 6.1-kWh, 400-volt high-voltage battery supplies the electrical system, with a 3.5-kW onboard charger enabling plug-in capability.
Combined system output reaches an extraordinary 1,064 horsepower, routed through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission featuring electric reverse and an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential. Power is distributed to all four wheels, enabling a claimed 0-to-60-mph time of just 2.5 seconds and an electronically restricted top speed of 217 mph. Full EV operation is also available, adding an element of low-speed electric driving to the Valhalla’s extreme performance credentials.
This particular example had accumulated only 174 miles at the time of writing and carried an original MSRP of $1,340,800, supplemented by more than $345,000 in factory options. Among its extensive equipment are all-carbon-fiber bodywork, a front-axle nose-lift system, active aerodynamics capable of generating more than 1,300 pounds of downforce from 149 mph through top speed, and dihedral doors incorporating roof cutouts for improved access.
The specification is equally distinctive visually. Finished in Ultramarine Black with a Dark Knight semi-aniline leather cabin, the car features the optional $28,800 Theme 3 livery, lime-colored interior accents, contrasting stitching and seatbelts, a Dark Chrome Interior Jewelry Pack, and a sport steering wheel trimmed in carbon fiber and Alcantara. A Bowers & Wilkins audio system complements its motorsport-inspired driving position.
Further upgrades include optional 20-inch front and 21-inch magnesium textured-titanium wheels, satin 2×2 twill carbon-fiber exterior packages, a satin carbon-fiber grille, and stainless ultrafine wing badges. Chassis hardware includes ultra-rigid aluminum subframes, inboard pushrod front suspension, four-wheel carbon-ceramic power brakes with vented rotors, and Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 AML tires.
