The Lamborghini Huracan STO Could be 330 Pounds Lighter than the Performante

It’s Coming This Week

The Lamborghini Huracan STO should come out on November 18th, but some details about the model have already leaked out.

According to The Supercar Blog, the Hurcan STO should be a full 330 pounds lighter than the Performante. This is due to the fact that it will have carbon fiber practically everywhere.

The STO will be an even more hardcore version of the Huracan than what is already available. It has been compared to the Super Trofeo racing car, however, it’s designed specifically for the road.

Not all of the details are out there, and there aren’t many images of the car either, especially not good images. Still, it seems common knowledge at this point that the STO will have a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that makes 640 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. This car will also be a rear-wheel-drive machine.

Production will be limited. Lamborghini plans to build 700 units. The price at this time is unknown. One thing is for sure, this car should go around the Nurburgring in record time. The Performante manages to fly around the track in six minutes and 52.01 seconds, and with the weight savings, this car should be even quicker.
