John Ketchell captures Ray Harroun and his Marmon Wasp on their way to victory in the first Indy 500.
It’s 1911 and the first Indianapolis 500 is being won by a Marmon Wasp driven by Ray Harroun. It is the first car able to be raced without a riding mechanic because it was equipped with a rear-view mirror.
