Do these bellbottoms make my car look fat?
Show of hands…how many of you sported a pair of bellbottoms in the 1970s? That was the fashion, so it seemed like a good idea at the time, right? Would you dig those out of the bottom of your closet and squeeze back into them today? I didn’t think so. Fashion is fickle that way. Yet, I’ve had that same “Oh, not this again” feeling as I gaze upon the latest crop of automobiles to sport the automotive equivalent of the bellbottom—the Gullwing door.
