Airbus crash in the hudson

  1. It's freezing here right now, people were floating around in the seawater, surviving the landing is one thing, that doesn't mean everyone is gonna be fine.

  2. For me that all depends on the water and the land in question. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

  3. At 180mph, it doesn't really matter too much. Solid ground at least supports the weight of the plane better.

  4. Stop being a dick just because it's Luke. Everybody made it off the plane safely.

  5. of course. im thinking similar type crash like what just happened.

  6. All that's missing is the Madden playcall screen, but you don't really need that when you can make out the color of the helpless, freezing victims' eyes in super high def clarity!

  7. Regardless, this isn't come kind of epic disaster like some people make it sound.

  8. Well only Luke would brag about watching the coverage in 1080i.

  9. So how many deaths would there have to be before it loses it's entertanment value for you?

  10. That's irrelevant because I would have watched it regardless of how many people died.

  11. Jesus wouldn't watch in 1080i.

  12. Well it would be pretty spectacular watching major current events in 1080i. Maybe he could've worded that better.
In any case, everybody is fine and I don't think another thread needs to be hijacked because people are looking for excuses to flame Luke.

  14. Yeah, I clearly worded it poorly at first but I've fixed it now.

  15.
  16. Well that answers that.

  17. +1 for the picture save.

  18. I just found a ton of tsunami pictures yesterday while cleaning my hard drive.

I'm still amazed by the devastation it caused.

  19. Massive, massive kudos to the pilot.

  20. sadly not many high def camaras were rolling back then <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  21. People had more important things to worry about than sending fancy camera crews over to record the calamity.

  22. The pilots deserve some serious credit here. How they managed to make it land so safely I don't know.

  23. I feel really bad for everybody and the luggage they've lost.

I'm sure there were plenty of laptops and other valuable things (camera, clothes, etc) that are now destroyed.

  24. Now you're just trying too hard.

  25. Think about it. You could have been on vacation or visiting for a wedding and now all of your photos are gone. You could have been traveling with an expensive business suit that's probably irrecoverable. I'd be devastated if I lost my computer and everything I had on it (photos, documents, etc) and I'm sure most people share that sentiment.
