For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter....

1. Listen up kid...It's time to educate your pea sized brain...

Nobody here including myself is going off saying "Japanese cars suck" and the idea of "No replacement for displacement" has a lot of truth to it.

since you're awlays talkin about small displacement cars being better than us big displacement V8's. Let's get some things cleared...

HP/Liter means shit! And that's where you going at when you say stupid things like you've been saying on this board.
Heres an example for you to chew on...

A Cox .049 R/C plane engine makes close to 500 hp.liter. So why might it be a bad engine to power your car with?

A Honda 600 CC bike engine makes almost 200 hp/liter. Why won't you see one of them in a sport coupe?

Do you see a trend here? You can't compare engine displacements unless they're the same block.

To make a long story short...V8's have more potential than inline 4's because of many things...When it comes down to handling all sorts of torque a V8 will be more stable...at Higher RPM's V8's have less engine vibration. V8's have more initial low end torque then most 4 cylinders. Just because a V8 only has 270hp doesn't mean it doesn't have over 300lbs torque.

Look at your precious S2000 that car has like 240hp but only 150lbs torque...What does that mean? The only way for the S2000 to hit it's HP is at peak RPM's which is the reason for it's high RPM range.

Nobody is bashing imports here man...but if you're bashing me and want to have a battle of wits will you have another thing comming...and oh yeah...this is car forum...leave your personal beliefs about American's out of this...you want to talk cars let's talk cars you little boy...Maybe you'll learn something.

That's what I thought *****! You can make a useless comment on another thread but you dont' have the balls to respond to this one...go on take your time.

3. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

When i read the first post on this thread i was going to say sorry but on second thought why dont you shove a V-8 up your ass!!!! Obvioulsy the V-8 would have an uper hand. Look how stupid you are, a V-8 compaerd ot a inline 4!!!! its double the size!!! I don't trash american cars! I trash big mouthed americans who think that their cars are the best there is!! BTW: im not racist about america i have relatives in america! All im asking is has any american manufacturer made a engine with low displacment and high horsepower and middle tourqe. A S2000 would out handle most american cars. You guys make unfair and stupid comparisons. a 1.6-2.5 L I-4 to a 3.0-9.0 L V-8 and saying it will beat it. WEll no DUH!! even home simpson could answear that question. I saw a video of this old Buick pushing 1017 hp out of a TT V-8. I went to a web site with this old skyline pushing 1000 hp at 60% !!!!!!!!!

4. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

AND 0-60 and horsepower isnt everything!!!

5. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

No it's not, the Saleen S7 handles pretty well though.

6. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

yea but who would wanna buy a 300,000 american. i can get a skyline for that much and it would outhandle and embarras the Saleen! And for Fbody. WHo do you think would last more a honda motorcycle or that other thing you said.

7. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Why are you so bent on cars with small displacement? Smaller is not better, it just saves space (although V-8's can be pretty small too).

8. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

a s7 would rape a skyline in every position imagineable.

You make no sense at all in this post...You started bashing on V8's and now you say you don't...You started bashing on Americans..and now you say you don't.

Let me put something straight for you..he 5.0 V8 from a Mustang is relatively small in size than most V8's. it's one of the smallest V8 blocks around...the Chevy 350 is also relatively small. I'll even show you a pic numbnuts.

You're the one comparing a 1.6 liter with a V8 not me. And that Integra you say that is stock...Since when is a turbo Integra stock?

13. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

No! when you guys say oh yea well mi stang' will beat a civic. now thats not me comparing the I-4 and V-8. thats you cuz ur saying that hte V-8 is beter than the I-4 which it is. I dun bash V-8's or any type or engine. I bash the big liter engine, coz the manufacturer cant make horsepower unless they increase the size of the engine. THe only reason most or a lot of hondas are undertouqre or have low tourqe compare to their horsepower is because of their low enine displacement. And i dun bash on americans, i make fun of the ones with the huge engines because they think their car is the greatest thing next to chocolate milk! Also som other are racists!!!! They call Japs R|ricers! And the cavalier you showed i was interested did that ran on normal fuel, or was it Nitrous or anyhting else?

14. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Also the Skyline did 8.96 with no Nitrous at only 66%. If it had drag tires and the whole drive train it would have ran much much faster. Plus the cavalier was on a tube Chasis making it lighter, but the Skyline was on its orginal chasis with small weight removal.

15. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

When it was still street legal it put out arround 1 444.6kW !

16. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Well us "big mouthed americans" are the one of the biggest buyers of your hondas, toyotas, nissans....etc. Without us they would fail. So watch what you say.

17. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Dude what the **** are you talking about? You make no sense at all...Nobody is going around saying "My big V8 is better than your I-4." You however are going around saying "Your bib V8 sucks...It has lousy HP/Liter...well HP/Liter means shit...it's all about HP/Lb...and that's where your high revving I4's are lacking...which is why they have to be high revving, so they can make up for the lousy torque that they don't have.

And please shut the **** up about this 8.9 skyline...How about this...I'll show you an 02' WS6 Trans Am WS6 Collectors Edition with a twin turbo setup and about 600rwhp running 10.11's @ 136mph...and guess what? It's a stock bottom end...That's what's impressive with oru "BIG FUCKING V8's" Most cars with that amount of power and boost are rarely stock bottom ends because they can't take it. It's a buddy of mine...Mike Brown...he lives here in Dayton Ohio, and the drives the car around too.

I can also show you a 2000+hp Fbody with quad turbos...why would I do that? I'm just proving that there's always going to be better cars out there...you're obviously showing the superiority of this Skyline...well I'm willing to show the superiority of an Fbody. It's all relative. However the difference between you and me? I'm not an ass about things.

18. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Here's Mike's car...

19. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

And by the way JapanandEuros rule...

R!CE doesn't mean that just because your car is Japanese it's R!CE...it's an idea, Cavaliers can be R!CE...to me and many others R!CE is considered putting something useless and assuming it's functional and serves a purpose.

Just because some kid put a phart pipe...and wing, and a cold intake doesn't mean your car is fast...that is R!CE.

And saying "Americans Suck" and then saying "I don't hate Americans, cuz I have family in America" then continuing on with the statement again makes you a bigot...a hypocrite, and an uneducated individual...cuz calling some of us Racist shows that you yourself are prejudice too. Maybe you need to stop..relax and actually think about what your going to say before you type it. Because the more ignorant things you say, the more people like me are going to call you on it, make you look bad, and then you're going to continue on with ingorant things again.

20. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Why create a small engine to make more power? They can make more power by means of a smaller engine, yes they do know how to do it, but they dont, and there is a reason. A smaller motor must be pushed harder than a larger one to create power. What would be the reasoning for this? Why create more stress on an engine when you don't need to?

21. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

ok then the R|ice things is cleared and i apoligze for beein a dumbass. But the civic is origannly a family until someone decied to do performance things on it. but can you actually imagine a V-8 in sucha light car . I would upset the handling balance by a lot. Even with the S2000 engine. They only fitted the I-4 because if they put in something larger it would screw its handling. Also for the Trans Am that Fbody showed can you post more specs like umm. liters and horsepower and so on and so on

22. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

i think u will find its the american
cars that lack hp/lb.

and wots so wrong with having to rev a bit more to make up for
not so much torque ?

23. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

Nitrous at 66%? Who the #$%# cares. Nitrous is gay.

24. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

And a large V8 in a light car? It doesn't upset anything. Ever heard of the Z06, with its 49/51 distrabution? I have seen 1200 hp motors (and no it wasn't a v6, it was a v8 swap) in a syclone, which is just ridiculous, and it has a stock frame.

25. Re: For Japan and Euros Rule....and anyone else at that matter..

It makes 600rwhp...stock bottom end...so no change of displacement..5.7 liter...346ci LS1 V8...Twin turbo'd.
