Lateral Acceleration

Discussion in '2002 Koenigsegg CC 8S' started by christofurr, Aug 9, 2002.

  1. I believe this thing (thing? im mad at myself for calling it a thing) can pull 1.15g's. Go have a look at the '96 Ford Indigo Concept (also on this site), it can pull 1.20g's (claimed). Now i know claimed stat's arent always correct, but im sure they are based on some pretty hard facts.

If people can get mortgages for their house, then it is possible (not logical) to get a mortgage on this CC. I must own this CC before I die.

You will not get a mortage on a car.

If a banks grants a credit with a mortage on a house worth 200,000 $ they know that they can very likely sell it for these 200,000 $.

But try to find somebody paying the full price for a Koenigsegg, especially when a bank is trying to sell it...

Actually, the demand for the CC is quite high and that increases its stock value considering how it's being produced in limited numbers. And the CC will not depreciate, it will appreciate just like the F50 and other supercars have.

Lateral Acceleration indicates good handling, but doesn't necessarily mean it's there. LA is a measure of how well a car corners, not how well it handles.

Granted, the two usually go hand in hand, but the only real stat for handling is the slalom. Anything of 70 mph average would be great, anything over 75 would be absolutly exceptional.

Wonder if this could outhandle a Hennessee Motorways Viper 800TT, now THAT would be f*cking impressive. Though at any rate, this is one amazing vehicle. In fact, I'd have to say this is one of 3 favorite Ferraris.

Are you kidding me? This will destroy a Viper in terms of handling. Why are you bringing up a Viper?? Everyone knows that Vipers are poor handlers and that their strength lies within their straight line performance.

that fact about vipers is very true, not so good at hadleing but put her on the straight and she comes out into her own, but mate this would out handle a viper any day, so to YOU it is fkn inpressive.
