  2. LOL

    +1

  3. Maybe he's the one who sold the car!

  4. Color doesnt match.

  5. The rear bumper is supposed to be black on the lower lip between the exhausts.

On the front bumper, the hole / vents are supposed to be black at the back where its flat.

In both cases, they are silver.

  6. I know, but the deal was well worth it for me.

  7. Could just be a different year.

  8. they were resprayed, the ap1's are all the same asthetically except in 02 they got a glass rear window.

To answer a previous post, the paint matches 100%

  9. any less than 6500rpm and the car WON'T MOVE.

  10. 2wks in, how is it?

  11. gutless, looking for an ls1 to drop in

  12. Congrats, great choice. I love this car and it's plenty fast.

  13. Its amazingly fun, i still get the chills when i hit vtec.

the car is civic slow if you're in second @ about 25mph but its ok because its still fun to drive.

    Loving the convertible.

I find myself breaking laws much more often.

    It's a blast w/ the top down.

Allthough the car has less my personality than my Corrado which i will allways miss i made the right decision because this car is a go-kart.

Question though, how safe is it to downshift into 6500-7000 rpm? Coming from vw's and a 350z (this is more fun) im not usd to this high reving stuff. Also what RPM do you cruise at usually? is 4k safe for the car around town?

  14. LOL. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

    A member of s2ki yet?

I rarely ever downshift into those kind of revs.

If your in 6th at 60mph, you can easily downshift to 3rd. It will see you at approx 6000ish rpm ; however I've never been to game to try 6th to 2nd.

At 60mph, your car should be doing approx >4k rpm. Mine sits at approx 3700rpm at 60mph.

You'll notice the car idles at 1K rpm, where most will idle at 300ish rpm. Basically, everything is pretty much double. My oldies LS1 Monaro at 60mph runs at ~1800rpm. You double that, and you get the F20C rpm for the same MPH.

  15. Yes i am,

I would never do a 6-2 shift, i usually shift to 5,500-6000 if i want to gun it.

It still feels odd for me to be "crusing" around town at 4,000 rpm. Guess i just have to get used to it.

  16. the saturn 5 rocket makes 160,000,000 horsepower at 0 RPM

  17. ZOOM ZOOM.

  22. Quick update.
I think i finally understand vtec, its ok to downshift into 6k RPM often and not worry about the motor.

    This car is amazing haha.

  23. Mines set at 5K because of the supercharger kit <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>
