  1. I like it. The supercharged 3.8 out of the Grand Prix GTP and a six speed would go very nice with this car. It rocks.

  2. Where's the beef?

I gotta say, the front of this car shocked me, it actually looks clean and sorta decent, but where's the power. They say that there's a Borla exhaust system and a ram air hood, how come this doesn't effect the power at all? This car should have the 5 speed manual instead of the automatic.

  3. Yea some more power would be nice, but it does have 200 lb/ft of torque, so it will pull very nicely at low rpm.

  4. Even with low horses, and decent torque, 4 doors, and an automatic transmission, I still for some reason like it. It's not particularly fast or flamboyant looking, yet it still draws me in. Weird.

  5. The specs are wrong. With the ram air it should have 185bhp and about 220lbs or tourqe. Its a bad ass car I just wish they'd up the hoarse power. I got my grand am up to 270 with a turbo, a ported upperintake and some other goodies and dedonation aviodence stuff. I'm just waiting for BIGVTEC to come a bitchen. All I can say is bring on the rice. <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

  6. looks very nice...a nice change from all the r!ced out civics, preludes, neons, integras and other various fart carts...at least its got a V6, too bad its not RWD or AWD<!-- Signature -->

  7. This is something my mom would buy. The Borla Exhaust and the Ram Air is sweet, but my S4 has Borla exhaust and pushes an extra 25 horses. So where is the rest of the engine? It looks nice definately, but the ricers will get by in no time. Keep the design, but junk the engine. Make it American!

  8. Waste of time, this car.<!-- Signature -->

  9. A Supercharged V6 would be nice, it needs more power to get it moving. i say scrap the auto and put a 5 speed manual in there aswell.<!-- Signature -->

  10. Car looks great, but it sux. I mean common, how about a Ram Air Supercharged(with more boost) 3800 with the borla? That would be pushing 275/275, add a 5speed manual and it is definately going somewhere. Looks great, but hate to say my V8 explorer would tear it apart(yeah, with 270horses/330lb ft. of torque you damn well better beleive I would)<!-- Signature -->

  12. They should develop the Saab, I mean, GM straight six they put in the Envoy and put it into some of these concepts and see where that takes them. Probably wouldn't do wonders for their crash saftey, but it would give them some street cred.
And yes, I know that Saab doesn't have an I6, but that engine is a DIRECT development of the 2.3 SE 4cyl turbo, just like the "GM" Ecotec engines. Fantastic engines. My 15 year old 180,000 mile engine will still cruise at 120 all day long and freakin scoots when on boost. They're bulletproof. (700+hp rally 9-3's have stock blocks!!!) Go Swedes.

  13. This is awful! Plane looks, childish power, and an automatic transmission just in case their wasn't enough lack of driver involvement. The best thing about it is that its a concept.<!-- Signature -->

  14. God help this excuse for a car. Huge engine with no power, looks like an MG, and an automatic to quell any sense of involvement. Dire.<!-- Signature -->

  15. good lookin car, great idea for hotwheels to influence a lifesize car.
But the power output is VERY dissapointing. Its the same as the grand am GT1. I was expecting with the ram air hood and the borla exhaust that this would have more. I was expecting maybe a supercharger in there to boost it over 200hp, but i guess pontiac is too chicken to compete with their own car, the grand prix (GT has 200hp, GTP has 240hp)
and automatic? come on...atleast give us an optional 5 or 6 speed manual...the performance aspects of this car really need to be looked at b4 this car is put into production.
good try thou pontiac, just need more power and atleast a 5speed.
and get rid of the NASCAR 'quick fill' cap...someone can just chuck some garbage into your gas tank in less than a second<!-- Signature -->

  16. I'm thinking of buying one of these cars. Can you guys tell me if there are any body kits that you can put on this car?

I'd love to see pictures of a Turbo install on a GA. From what I have been told for any model it would be about a 6000 dollar job. I've done a few things to my GA to make it pretty quick, but I'd love to see some dyno sheets, pics, and time slips.<!-- Signature -->

They should put this body on the SC/T and I'd be beyond happy. Then you would have this sweet looking car at 60 in 5.9 seconds (with a manual). GM is making a limited run of these special editions, so you could make your own Hot Wheels SC/T Coupe by buying the supercharger from www.partsforyourcar.com for less than two grand (I think it's still under $2,000) and go from there.<!-- Signature -->
