Whereas the AU 2 XR8 is 7.6 seconds, 15.3 seconds and 229km/h...It also weighs 70kg more than the XR8, has 5kw less power and 10nm more torque...

hey mate! the new falcon will have a 210kw turbo v6 comparded to the vy commodore v6 supercharged will have 200kw. And the new Xr8 will have 260kw v8 comparded to the vy ss with 240kw and there will be a falcon gt that will have 330kw comparded to the vy gts 300kw. so I rest my case FORDS RULE!

Horsepower isn't everything. Torque is more important. Plus the Arrow might have 370kw, but its accelleration is slow. Holden will be having all new blocks with different power outputs when the VY comes out.
Hate to dissapoint you but VY isnt getting the new Blocks, VZ is, VY will just get minor upgrades and and the S/C V6 will get around 210kw.
