SSC Ultimate Aero II I love the design. the front view, side view but I'm not really feeling the back view..
SSC Ultimate Aero II I love the design! Even the back. Simply because it's different doesn't make it ugly, at least not to me. Let's hope they make it handle as good as it looks, not just have straight line speed. I'd rather it hit top speed of just 220 or 230 MPH and have it handle really well!

SSC Ultimate Aero II Here's a YouTube video showing some nice pics and a little info on some of the materials in the SSC Ultimate Aero II: Pretty cool, and they better make it!

SSC Ultimate Aero II very cool of them to take the time to do that, especially for an enthusiast forum, not some big tv show or auto mag. good info too, im really looking forward to seeing the additional auto journalist coverage he mentioned this time around. i always had a feeling that the first car was a much better car than it was given credit for, but couldnt escape its own shadow of top speed monster. from his reply it sounds like this time they are going to encourage more journalists to test the cars handling and comfort, before they attempt to set the official speed record, so that people get to hear more about it than just top speed.
SSC Ultimate Aero II I posted my question(s) on that thread, sox. Sadly, the question & answer part ended, but we can still send SSCJunus private messages (if you have a registered name on that forum) and ask him questions (then relay the answers back here, if you can!). I asked him about the handling and if they plan on taking it to the Nurburgring in the future, and he said they are paying a lot of attention to its handling; not to worry. He said a lot of attributes get overshadowed simply because everyone is just hyped up about the top speed record, but they are going to make sure people know about its other qualities in the future. I asked if they'd take it to the Nurburgring and he said they're looking into Europe, but nothing specific he can tell me yet. The things you see on the car, they all have a specific purpose. If you don't like the 'winglets' or the exhaust for aesthetic reasons, you'll have to get used to it and hopefully 'let them grow on you' because they're there for down-force and high-speed stabilization reasons. I have no problems with the looks of anything on this car; makes it unique and that's what I want if I were to buy such a car!
SSC Ultimate Aero II After reading about 92.3% of all the posts. I've to the conclusion that majority of you are infatuated with Aero II. Just postulating as to what most you would do differently with Aero I instead?
SSC Ultimate Aero II Cars that have proven themselves to be faster than a hardtop, non-supersport Veyron on a public road with 40% of the available distance: SSC Aero Cars that have not: Koenigsegg AgeraXXR or whatever
SSC Ultimate Aero II I think this ride will need special roads to drive on. 1800 HP? Shit, earthquake-maker.
